Can resistance bands be used effectively in P90x as replacement of the pull up bar?
I don’t really have room for a pull up bar. In the DVD’s, it shows a person using bands hung from a ceiling type thing. Will I still get decent results using this strategy rather than using a real pull up bar?
If you get heavy enough resistance bands, you will get decent results. I suggested a 40-50 pounds resistance band.
Working with resistance bands works differently than doing pull ups. You have reistance in the pulling position and while straightening your arms. You get the best of both worlds!
